  1. easy do it yourself - Posted by: August (8/21/15)

This is a great lift kit for these old gm trucks. I advise people to do it themselves because you can learn so much. My truck now has the right stance and is turnin more heads than ever before. My #1 tip for you DIY is to go ahead a order longer front brake hoses. This is a necessity. You can't do without. The stock hoses will not fit. All in all if you have the right tools and enough help. You'll make many memories just like did. Thankyou rough country.

  2. Lift kit - Posted by: Boogs (8/4/15)

Put this on my 81 Chevy k10 short bed. Very simple to put on and only took a couple hours. Made it sit like a 6 inch lift I thought. Clears the 35s under it with ease, no rubbing at all. Couldn't be any happier. Would buy another again.

  3. Great Stance - Posted by: Bobbo (6/30/15)

I didn't realize the stock suspension made the truck sit so low like a car. I bought the 4" kit with quad shocks, extended brake lines, the steering stabilizer. Put 35" tires under it. Now it looks like a truck with some meats under it. The quality is superior. I am pleased, Thank you Rough Country!

  4. Great kit - Posted by: Tyler (6/16/15)

Went together easy. Everything fits as it should. The hardest part is removing the steering arm. Kit includes relocation brackets for brake lines. But I would recommend ordering the longer brake lines instead. I also used the sway bar drop brackets and I am very pleased. I will definetly order this kit for my next old truck.

  5. 4inch lift - Posted by: casey (3/17/15)

Im very happy with this lift had no problem putting it on and it looks great very happy with it.

  6. about lift - Posted by: andrew (8/13/14)

With this lift on my 77 stepside I don't have problems installing it but break line relocation was confusing so I just bought new brake lines. But the lift is more than a 4inch or at least its higher than normal I have stock drive shafts but not I need new ones they are to short. Same with the brake lines. So of I had to do it all again. I would just buy a 6inch lift you have to change all the same things I had to change, like drive shaft steering arm and brake lines. So if ur gonna do it might as well go big
