Our first four windshields—the half, vented, full, and rear—share certain features. They are all made and cut in Tennessee from a thick polycarbonate material enhanced by an AR2 secondary hard-coating process. This adds strength, clarity, and UV protection. These scratch-resistant windshields feature a contoured design that provides a precise fit and easy installation. Finally, they all come standard with a rubber seal for a precise fit. (And yes, they work with factory or aftermarket roofs!) While each of our windshields is awesome, we understand that UTV owners need options for their UTV experience. So now, let's dive into the different styles.

Half Polycarbonate Windshield

You want to blaze down some trails with the wind in your face and nothing between you and the open air. But you also don’t want a face full of dust and mud. A UTV half windshield will offer protection while still giving you that open-air feel. Designed to keep a clear line of vision while allowing more airflow on hot days, it’s perfect for your next off-road adventure.

Full Polycarbonate Windshield

Depending on where you live, and the time of year, you may experience a variety of conditions that can be harsh for UTV riders. These include rain, cold temperatures, snow, and ice. The full windshield option offers protection from all of these elements for everyone on board.  With half windshields, the passengers in your machine are exposed to the elements just as much as the driver is; however, with a full shield, everyone can enjoy the ride without getting pelted with rocks, mud, or other flying debris. And since they keep your cab cleaner, that means less time spent cleaning up after your ride.

Vented Polycarbonate Windshield

Vented windshields are all the rage these days, and for a good reason. They provide the perfect balance of protection and airflow, making them ideal for off-road driving. The vents on Rough Country’s Vented Windshield can be easily adjusted to allow for the desired airflow direction, meaning you can have a refreshing breeze blowing in your face on a hot day or keep the cold air out on a winter ride. And because they rotate 360°, you can always find the perfect position for your vents. So if you're looking for a windshield that offers the best of both worlds, a vented windshield is the way to go.

Rear Polycarbonate Windshield

As any UTV enthusiast knows, one of the best parts about going off-roading is the feeling of freedom that comes from having the wind in your face. However, the wind can also quickly turn a fun ride into a dusty nightmare. That's why rear windshields are an important accessory for anyone who spends time in their UTV. When used with a front windshield a rear windshield helps eliminate that dust suction effect. In addition, rear windshields can also help stop mud from flinging up into your cab, keeping you and anyone riding shotgun clean and dry.

Power Tilting Glass Windshield

Why choose one when you can have them all? Power windshields for UTVs are becoming increasingly popular, and it's easy to see why. Rough Country's power tilting glass windshields allow riders to adjust the windshield to fit their riding conditions. The push-button control for dual linear actuators is so easy to use you can even make adjustments mid-ride. It can be opened, closed, or partially open for ventilated air, making it one of the most versatile windshields on the market. In addition, we use DOT-approved glass for this model, making it an ideal choice for serious riders who hit the trails in all types of weather. If you want the best for your UTV, this is the way to go. Rough Country's power tilt glass windshield option will be hitting the market soon.

When choosing a windshield for your UTV, you have to consider your needs, the weather conditions, and the terrain you'll be driving in. While it is important to keep these factors in mind, the end decision will be based on what works best for you and your UTV. Rough Country's UTV windshields are made from premium materials made to last for years. We offer many different models and options to pick from, with more still in the works. If you have any questions, drop them below in the comments or contact our customer service team at Rough County. They'll be happy to guide you through the process of finding the perfect UTV windshield for your style and budget.
