  1. I like it - Posted by: The .50 (20001,v6,2wd) (7/23/15)

No problems with it im runing 285/50 20r
it had a 2" drop, the rear block didnt level the rear had to replace that block with a 3" bout 1/2" lower in the rear but it looks good. Im going to get the stabilizer, my tires are very wide and some times it will kick a bit, over all very happy with everyrhing. Now just need offroad wheel n tivers

  2. Quick and easy - Posted by: Minco (4/23/15)

This particular lift kit was quick and easy to install.

  3. 3" Lift for 2001 F150 2WD with steering stabilizer - Posted by: Dylan (11/24/14)

I installed the 3" Lift Kit myself at home with only one jack and two jack stands and standard tools. The installation of the front spindles was very easy; jacked the front end up by the lower control arm, took off the brake caliper, rotor, ABS sensor, steering linkage, removed the cotter pins from the ball joints and loosened the nuts and hit the existing spindle with a hammer to knock it off. Put the new one on and reassembled and I was good to go. For the back; loosened the four U-bolt bracket nuts, took off the old U-bolts and raised the vehicle from the leaf spring to insert the new spacer. Lowered it back down and installed the new U-bolt with an impact drill. ONLY DOWNSIDE: I had pre-existing 2" spacers on my wheels to give it a little more of a stance and I have Firestone Destination A/T 31.5" tires and they do rub on the front plastic part of the bumper. If I didn't have the spacers, I'm sure it wouldn't do this, but just be cautious if you have oversized tires when installing this kit. Check out a video of the installation:

Great job Rough Country! Very easy installation overall and I am very pleased with the look. To see pictures:
