Rough Country team member Jason Birkes and I recently packed up the Toyota Tacoma and Jeep Gladiator to head to Rendezvous in The Ozarks, an Overlanding community event in the Ozark National Forest of Arkansas. This is a gathering where you can share your expertise, knowledge, and enthusiasm about the Overlanding lifestyle. It's a great meeting place for those planning Overlanding adventures and vendors offering outdoor-related products. Our weekend was filled with Overlanding rigs and gear, trail rides, good weather, and great conversations. This was our first Rendezvous event, and we brought back a lot of new information to HQ that will help us create more products for the Overlanding community.

Rendezvous in the Ozarks is an Overlanding event in the Ozark region of Arkansas started by Natural State Overland and other enthusiasts. It has grown and gained traction just three years after its founding, so we decided to check it out. The event was held at Mulberry Mountain Lodge, a mountain resort with stunning views of the Ozark National Forest. Vendors set up rigs and products during the event to show off and engage with the customer community. People camp out at night and spend time riding trails or hanging out at vendor booths during the day. We hope this event continues to grow and bring people together in the Overlanding community.

We took the Rough Country Jeep Gladiator and my Toyota Tacoma to the event. We use both as test vehicles for a lot of research and development. Each vehicle was loaded with products already on the market or ones coming down the pipe in R & D. It's important for us to showcase the systems we are building and get authentic consumer feedback. Based on the feedback we received at the event, it is clear that these systems are a perfect representation of what this community values and needs.

Rendezvous in the Ozarks is a well-planned, well-executed event that draws people of all ages to enjoy the beautiful scenery and countryside. If you didn't make it out this year, put it on your calendar for next year, and hopefully, we will see you there! Some events we are looking at for this upcoming year are the next Overland Expo and the MOORE Expo in Springfield, MO. Let us know in the comments what events you have been to or where you would like to see Rough Country. To learn more about this past Rendezvous Event, visit https://www.naturalstateoverland.org
