Rough Country Rolls Into Tailgate N’ Tallboys

We’ve been to a lot of events. Mud Nationals. Overland Expo. Jeep Beach. But Tailgate N’ Tallboys? This was a new kind of stage for us—literally. A four-day fusion of music festival and truck show gave us the perfect spotlight to showcase our gear in a whole new setting. And it hit.

• Our booth was packed from sunup to sundown.
• The gear we brought was a hit with everyone from college kids to seasoned trail veterans.
• The turnout kept us busy, and the stickers didn’t last long.

This wasn’t just about showing up—it was about standing out. And Ernie’s Custom Shop helped us do exactly that with an insane lineup of Rough Country-equipped builds that had heads turning all weekend long.

We’re not saying Rough Country lifts look even better in front of a crowd—but they kinda do. Especially when half the trucks on display were running Rough Country suspension kits. That’s not just presence—that’s proof.

You could barely take five steps without seeing:

And when the music stopped? The conversations kept going. From gear heads to country fans, people wanted to talk about their trucks, their builds, and where RC fits in.

We came loaded with Rough Country hats, decals, and giveaways—and by Day 2, we were already running low. You know it's a good sign when you hear “You guys got any more of those RC stickers?” about a hundred times a day.

This wasn’t your typical trade show crowd, either. It was younger, hyped, and ready to rep the lifestyle. A ton of people already had Rough Country gear on their rides, and just as many were planning their first lift.

Five Rough Country dealers showed up with their custom truck builds, helping drive home what we already know—our community is full of passionate, hands-on builders who don’t just buy our stuff… they live it.

And when we say community, we mean it. These events remind us why we do what we do:

• Instant feedback from real-world users
