You need extended brake lines when you install a suspension lift kit or upgrade to longer-travel shocks that increase axle droop beyond what factory brake lines can accommodate.

Stainless steel braided brake lines resist expansion under pressure and offer better abrasion and heat resistance compared to standard rubber hoses, which can provide improved pedal feel.

Safely lift your vehicle until the wheels are just off the ground at full suspension droop - if the brake hoses appear taut, stretched, or near their limit of travel, you need extended lines.
