If you want to change your truck’s stance, add larger tires, or gain more clearance, you’ll usually end up choosing between a leveling kit and a lift kit.
The short answer is pretty simple.
A leveling kit raises the front of the truck to reduce the factory nose-down stance. A lift kit raises more of the truck and gives you more room for larger tires, added ground clearance, and more serious off-road use.
If you mainly want your truck to sit level and gain a little extra tire clearance, a leveling kit often makes the most sense. If you want a taller truck, bigger tires, and more room underneath, a suspension lift is usually the better fit.
