Ben Flanders Teams Up with Rough Country for a Clean, Bold Truck Build

Ben’s truck isn’t just for getting from point A to point B. Like a lot of folks in our community, it’s part of how he works, how he travels, and how he unwinds.

“I was going for the full stormtrooper look—black and white!”

That meant getting a look that was clean, aggressive, and ready for whatever comes next, whether it’s a music festival, studio session, or weekend drive with friends.

Ben made time to stop by our Dyersburg, TN headquarters, and we gave him the full behind-the-scenes tour.

“Man, it was mind-blowing seeing the size of the operation. I truly had no idea how large of a business it is.”

A lot of folks are surprised when they see the scope of what we do in person. We’ve grown a lot over the years, but our goal is the same: build dependable, good-looking gear that fits real-world budgets and lifestyles.

One of the first things Ben picked up during his visit? A set of Rough Country 35" tires. He’d been running 33s, but the switch made a noticeable difference.

“For some reason, the 2” extra felt like double the size. I love my RC 35s.”

It’s something we hear a lot. Bigger tires change the whole feel of a truck—more grip, more ground clearance, and a stance that just feels solid. And the black-on-white contrast? It pulls the whole look together.

To bring the whole build together, Ben teamed up with Brian’s Motorsports in Nashville—one of our trusted partners who knows how to dial in every detail. From suspension to styling, their crew made sure the finished truck looked sharp and performed even better.

After the install, Ben’s goal was simple—share the excitement.

“Honestly, I was just stoked for my buddies to see it and take it for a drive to share the excitement and give them the modification bug.”

And that’s the ripple effect of a good build. It grabs attention, sparks interest, and before long, they’re planning their own upgrades.
