Aiden’s Ford F-250 currently features:
• Rough Country 2.5-Inch Leveling Kit
• Rough Country rear bumper
• Rough Country 12,000-pound winch
• Rough Country LED lights across the front
The upgrades give the truck more clearance, added recovery capability, and better visibility when Aiden is traveling before sunrise or after dark.
He handles most of the work himself.
“For the most part, I am a DIY installer,” Aiden said.
An older diesel and a collection of DIY modifications sound like a good way to stay busy, whether the truck cooperates or not.

Aiden added the 2.5-inch leveling kit to improve clearance while traveling to hunting areas, kayaking spots, and remote campsites.
He does not consider himself a hardcore off-roader. His truck is built to reach outdoor destinations rather than spend every weekend crawling over obstacles.
He enjoys exploring the mountains of Montana and the backroads near his hometown of Buena Vista, Colorado.
The added clearance helps him feel more confident when the pavement ends and the road ahead gets rough.

Out of everything installed on the F-250, the leveling kit stands out as Aiden’s favorite modification.
“I love the leveling kit,” he said. “It helps me have confidence that my rig is going to safely make it wherever I would like.”
The aggressive stance doesn’t hurt either.

Aiden does not limit his overlanding trips to one trail or destination.
“I like overlanding wherever the next adventure is,” he said. “Some days, that is the pursuit of elk or deer. Some days, it’s the pursuit of the next whitewater kayak adventure.”
His F-250 serves as the connection between those pursuits. It carries his equipment, reaches remote areas, and gives him a place to build the vehicle-based lifestyle he has been working toward.

Aiden has one major trip at the top of his list.
“My dream is to drive my truck from Alaska to South America,” he said.
A trip of that size would put the F-250 through changing climates, long stretches of highway, dirt roads, and remote areas far from familiar support.
The next step is finding the right camper setup.
“I am currently on the hunt for a camper setup to help me optimize living out of my truck,” Aiden said. “Other than that, I am living the life with the current build.”
This F-250 is more than Aiden’s daily driver. It is the foundation for the lifestyle he wants to live. His setup gives him the clearance, lighting, and recovery equipment needed to chase the next hunt, the next stretch of whitewater, and, ultimately, one long road south.
