When the 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Edition rolled into the shop, we saw a solid foundation—and a lot of room to build. It’s a capable rig right off the lot, but we wanted to show what happens when you take that factory setup and push it further with Rough Country gear.

Burkeville, Texas set the scene for one of the Southeast’s biggest off-road events: Mud Nationals 2025 at Sabine ATV Park. Thousands of UTV and ATV riders gathered for a long weekend of trail riding, mud challenges, and gear showcases. And Rough Country was right there in the mix, checking in on one of the most energized corners of the powersports world.

This year marked our first-time attending Orange Beach Invasion, and let’s just say—it won’t be our last. Here’s what stood out, why it matters, and what we learned about the builds folks create today with brands like Rough Country.

Rough Country has teamed up with Operation Tackle Box, a non-profit founded by Jacob Watkins, a combat veteran dedicated to helping fellow vets. The mission? To impact and support combat veterans through fishing, camping, and overlanding experiences—giving them the space to reconnect, heal, and rediscover that brotherhood.
And this build isn’t just for show—it’s part of an incredible UTV giveaway. The grand prize? A 2023 Polaris Ranger XP 1000, generously donated by Cali Farms and the Desante family to help raise funds for this meaningful cause.
