Dyer County and Dyersburg High School students toured Rough Country’s East Court Facility for Manufacturing Day and explored real career paths in modern manufacturing.

When two busloads of high-school students step into a building full of laser cutters, welding bays, and roaring presses, they get a clear look at the kind of work that shapes real products. Students from Dyer County High School and Dyersburg High School saw the process behind the parts they often spot on local trucks, Jeeps, and UTVs. At Rough Country’s East Court Manufacturing Facility, you could see their interest build as they moved through each area. And yes, a few of them admitted they wanted to come back and apply.
This year’s Manufacturing Day brought energy, curiosity, and plenty of “I didn’t know you made all of this here.” Exactly what we hoped for.

Manufacturing Day at Rough Country: Inspiring the Next Generation

Rough Country at SEMA 2025 highlighted products and the team behind them, focusing on real use, clear conversations, and building lasting connections.

SEMA 2025 has ended. Our booth highlighted the products along with some of the team who works on them every day. Every bracket, bolt, and mount came from hours in the shop and real trail miles to confirm performance. 
The event helped show how our suspension setups, recovery gear, and storage solutions support daily use and weekend trips outdoors. Performance comes from experience with rough ground, paved roads, and everything between. Our team works in those conditions year-round.

SEMA is a trade-only event in Las Vegas where builders and brands show new products, custom builds, and training for industry professionals. The show draws truck, SUV, and off-road enthusiasts who look for upgrades built for real use. Our last time at SEMA was 2008. For the return, we brought a 2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road build that stands on purpose and function.
